Why aren't more of you playing Alien Swarm? It's a free shoot 'em up game from Valve running on the source engine. Used to be some HL2 mod, I believe.

Tis god fun playing it some old buddies, it was a UT2k4 mod not HL2

tried but it was in some funny 8th person view hope ya can change it didnt really get time

On Steam forums there's a thread about console commands. You can change to first person view.

Use these 3 together to get to play in a more traditional first person mode.


Change camera angle to view in the first person
Code:firstperson


Hide your character model on your screen
Code:asw_hide_marine 1

Change control setup to work like normal FPS games with mouse aming and WSAD movement/strafe
